That thing moves fast, kind of reminds me of the thing from alien. Also it’s kind of sad to see Purdy accept his fate, although I’m not sure what else he could really do at this point.
Edit: (I forgot) Nooo, Enid! I saw that there was a new page before I went on my walk, and decided to walk first, and near the end I was like “I have high hopes and low expectations for their chances of surviving” :P
Also it’s fun putting together a tvtropes page for stuff I like when my mind goes into “example adding” mode. Throughout the last few days I’d sometimes think of a page I really liked in the comic, think more about it, and realize there’s another trope I could add, get excited, and either put it on a list for checking later, or go right to the trope page and check if the trope fits. Some pages are just packed with them, lol.
(When I saw Enid get stabbed I was like “ow that hurts!” And then “. . . Ooo, could be another example for ‘Impaled With Extreme Prejudice :D’. She looks kind of shocked. I should check if there’s a trope for that. Ok back to reading.” lol.)

WOW ok just found the comic today and read it all in one go. this shit is INCREDIBLE the perspective shots the composition the paneling... its really creative and out there with that stuff but still super readable which is such a hard to reach goldilocks zone. and the character designs and expressiveness are amazing too! real 10/10 comic
and its funny that you mention tvtropes because thats actually how i found it!
